I have always been fascinated with the way environments feel.  From a very young age, I have had the ability to visualize an interior space in 3D in my mind.  I had always thought everyone thinks this way.  I could walk into a room and know how to arrange furniture almost immediately to open up the space and create a feeling of welcoming warmth and hominess. 

    After attending Sacramento State university for Interior Design in the early 1990's, I realized my passion for interior spaces was far more about the layout than what kind of fabric was needed.  I also discovered the very intimate relationship a person has with their personal space.  It became clear that the way a room, home, business or space was set up reflected the way a person felt about themselves and their lives.  Thus began a love affair with helping people change their lives through room layout. 

    Another passion of mine is photogaphy.  I had my first experience with a camera using my fathers 1965 Nikon.  I took a few college classes back when film was used, dark rooms were the norm and for about $8.00 and a 24 hour wait time, (before 1 hour photo!) I could have 24 to 36 images on paper that I could not alter.  I had to make them count!  Then digital came along and I felt like I was set free!  I went wild capturing moments in time and discovered that like people, every property has an essence and it has been my mission ever since to capture the essence of a structure or environment. Pairing my two loves, homes and photography, I have developed a business that not only helps the people I photograph for but satisfies a deep enjoyment and gratefullness for spending my time doing what I love.  

   My business started small, just helping friends and family members.  As word got out about what I could do, my business grew to what it is today.  I do not advertise in public other than this website.  It is purely word of mouth that I have helped re-design and photograph over 150 homes & businesses and counting...
